Production“ wurde im Rahmen des Proseminars „Projektmanagement“ vergeben.
Bereits in den Seminarstunden wurde deutlich, wie entscheidend Kenntnisse über den
Ansatz der schlanken Produktion für die Kernkompetenzen eines Projektmanagers sind.
In der folgenden Arbeit sollen zunächst die Entstehung sowie die Definition des Begriffs
„Lean Production" kurz umrissen werden, um einen Einblick in die Thematik zu
gewinnen.
Auf der Basis des Quellentextes „Auf dem Weg zum perfekten Unternehmen“ von
James P. Womack und Daniel T. Jones sollen anschließend die Kernelemente des
Konzeptes ausführlicher dargestellt und erklärt werden.
Bei der Betrachtung der Prinzipien schlanker Produktion möchte ich vor allem die
Gedanken herausstellen, die verdeutlichen, wie entscheidend die Umwandlung von
muda (jap.: Verschwendung) in Wert für eine schlanke Unternehmensorganisation ist.
Abschließend werde ich noch einige Vor- und Nachteile der Produktionsstrategie „Lean
Produktion“ diskutieren.
