Theologie), Veranstaltung: Pneumatologie, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Diese Arbeit befasst sich als Grundlage mit dem Buch „Gottes Geist“ von Michael Welker; allerdings beschränkt sie sich auf die Lehre des Heiligen Geistes (Pneumatologie) im Alten Testament. Besonders interessant fand ich das zweite Kapitel1, da mein Schwerpunkt des Theologiestudiums im Bereich Biblische Theologie vorrangig auf dem Alten Testament liegt. Von daher scheint es mir am sinnvollsten zu sein, nun einmal die Systematische Theologie mit der Biblischen Theologie zu verbinden. Die Pneumatologie, die Lehre vom Heiligen Geist als dem Geist Christi in der Geschichte, wurde in der Geschichte des Christentums oft vernachlässigt, deshalb bildet die Pneumatologie so zu sagen das jüngste Traktat in der Dogmatik. Erst in den letzten Jahrzehnten hat sich das Bewusstsein von der Notwendigkeit der pneumatologischen Dimension in christlichen Glaubensfragen herauskristallisiert. Müller sagt deshalb auch: „In der klassischen Gestalt der katholischen Dogmatik kommt ein eigener Traktat ‚Pneumatologie’ als Lehre von Person, Wesen und Wirken des Heiligen Geistes nicht vor.“2 Weiterhin betont er allerdings auch, dass man bei der „Neuentwicklung“ des Traktates der Pneumatologie nicht über das Ziel hinaus schießen dürfe, indem man die Pneumatologie als gleichwertiges Traktat zur Christologie sehe.3 Wer sich nun fragt warum man sich denn nun mit der Pneumatologie beschäftigen müsse, wenn man es doch Jahrhunderte lang auch nicht getan habe, so muss man denen entgegnen, dass der Geist Gottes eine Schlüsselstellung in der Theologie des Alten Testaments einnimmt. Nicht weniger als 378-mal erscheint das Wort „Geist“ rûah in der hebräischen Bibel, in der griechischen Fassung, der Septuaginta (LXX), nicht weniger als 274-mal.4 Somit wird schon deutlich welche Stellung Gottes Geist in der Bibel zukommt und weshalb die neueren Forschungen ihren Blick immer mehr auf das Wirken und das Wesen des Geistes Gottes gerichtet haben. Wenn man sich das Wort rûah im Alten Testament näher ansieht kann man erkennen, dass dasselbe Wort für Geist, Hauch, Atem und Wind verwendet wird.
